NATURAL STONE VS. PORCELAIN: PROS AND CONS!
We supply a whole range of exceptional quality natural stones, straight from our factory in India, including limestone, sandstone, modak, granite, slate, travertine and more, in a variety of textures, colours and finishes.
We supply straight to the general public as well as to contractors and builders. You don’t need to have a business account or anything like that. Just choose what you want and place your order and you’ll receive it within two days.
We don’t do any installation ourselves but we do have a list of recommended, certified paving companies so we can point you in the right direction.
Yes, of course. Head on over to our Laying Guides page and you can download PDFs of all the guides you need.
We can send our stone to anywhere in Nottingham within just 6 hours, and if you’re elsewhere in the UK, you can expect your delivery in only 48 hours! We’ll quality check your stone and then carefully pack it ready for delivery, before sending it on its way to you.
A good sealant will protect your stone from the weather and make it easier to clean so it is a good idea but it’s up to you whether you use one or not. It’s not something you have to do.
We sell a professional, specialised, frost resistant jointing compound which is perfect for filling the gaps in between your stones. Check out our Jointing Compound page for more details.
We deliver across the whole of the UK.
Without knowing what your project is and the size of the area you’re working on, we can’t answer that, but if you give us a call, we can discuss that in more detail and help you decide. We’d also recommend that you always order at least 10 – 15% more than you need to account for waste when cutting your stone and for breakages.
Taking photographs of natural stone is difficult as the light available, time of day and even the weather can affect what it looks like so we can’t guarantee that the images on our site will be fully accurate in terms of colour. Not only that, but natural stone can vary from piece to piece. It isn’t uniform like man-made materials because, of course, it’s naturally made. However, that is the beauty of it and one of the biggest reasons for buying natural stone over anything else as, even if you use a pattern that’s been used a hundred times, your project will still be completely unique. What we can do is send you a sample to check the colour and see if it is suitable for your project. Give us a call to arrange for your sample.
We produce exceptional quality natural stone that’s the equivalent of our own York stone. We use local people in our Indian factory with ethical business practices and very high quality standards. Our stone is checked in India before packaging for export and checked again before we package it up to deliver it to you to give you what we think is the best of the best.
Absolutely! We are careful about where we source our stone from, using our own Indian factory so we can be sure of the quality and the source, and all of our stone is completely natural with no concrete additives. We also ship our stone directly from India rather than using air transport, which is far better for the environment.
Over time, natural stone can become covered with dirt, soil, moss and other substances but luckily, it’s easy to clean with no more than a pressure wash.
Approximately 15mm. Please see our Laying Guides for full information on how to lay your stone or give us a call if you need more help.
Absolutely! We’re always happy to help our customers in whatever way we can and we don’t want you to have to pay more for your project than you need to, so we’ll happily split packs to provide exactly the right amount of stone.
